PurrFect Paws Rescue - Dedicated To The Plight Of the Friendly Stray

The Pennsylvania SPCA is trying to fight back against a rash of animal abuse cases throughout the city of Philadelphia.

Officials said they have seen a dramatic rise in animal cruelty cases this year.

Since the PSPCA launched their anti-cruelty hotline, 1-866-601-SPCA, on January 30,2008 officials said they have received 4,800 calls, approximately 30 a day.

The hotline is active seven days a week, 24 hours a day. You can anonymously report any cases of animal cruelty by calling 1-866-601-SPCA or visiting pspca.org.
