  Our Public Statement on Michael Vick We are outraged and very saddened by The Philadelphia Eagles' decision to hire Michael Vick, a convicted felon and sadistic animal abuser. In so much as we have no control over The Philadelphia Eagles or Vick or the NFL , we can only exercise our right to protest on behalf of those dogs that suffered and died at his hands and subsequently no longer support The Philadelphia Eagles and their corporate sponsors. Our organization will rally with other rescues far and wide and continue to fulfill our obligation to be the voice of every abused animal silenced at the bloodied hands of the Michael Vicks of the world.
